Aaron Trutschel
Executive Chef
Born in Shelburne Ontario, Aaron Trutschel cumulates over 15 years of culinary experience. Since January 2013 until this day, he occupied the position of Executive Chef for The Petrovski family.
Between 2003 and 2004, Trutschel had the opportunity to conduct traineeships in renowned venues such as Australian Cricket Fair Grounds.
Quickly, he worked his way up through some prestigious establishments, notably with Chef Jason Rosso Distillery restaurant group where he learned to master his craft. He deepened his knowledge of the culinary culture associated with the various wine regions during his three years at The Old Barber House (Petrovski Family) and became chef of the restaurants 2013. For the last five years, he has been leading his team towards offering a new and audacious culinary experience to Roseville Estate.
Aaron Trutschel is active in the day-to-day aspects of Roseville Estate, and tastes everything before it appears on a menu. He has a passion for menu development and a unique skill for taking an obscure ingredient or cooking technique and making it appeal to all guests. Trutschel strives to create a balance between adventure and comfort. He loves for guests to try new ingredients or dishes that they would never otherwise have tried.
Trutschel is also very passionate about his personal relationships with all farmers that supply the Estate ingredients. His day-to-day role includes visiting farms and farmer’s markets to source fresh produce and the finest available local ingredients.
